Sun Trolley’s Beach Link and Las Olas Link will operate on July 4, 2013 providing a connection to the City of Fort Lauderdale’s 4th of July Spectacular.
Both routes will operate extended hours:
- The Beach Link from 9:30 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Sun Trolley’s Beach route will run from Harbor Shops (17th Street Causeway) to The Galleria Mall.
- The Las Olas Link from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Sun Trolley’s Las Olas route runs from the Broward Center of the Performing Arts (SW 2 St and SW 5 Ave) east along 2nd Street to the City Park Garage, then proceeds to Las Olas Boulevard and travels east to Fort Lauderdale beach.
Sun Trolley is a wave and ride service. Passengers simply flag the driver anywhere along the route to board. Once aboard, the fare is 50¢ for one trip or $2 for all day, hop-on-hop off of both routes. The Sun Trolley Tracker, a new mobile app for Android and iPhone users, provides real time location of all trolleys.
